Campus Parking
Parking Rules and Regulations - Please read carefully before downloading your Parking Permit Form and Motor Vehicle Registration.

Permit Requirements
- Employees and students who park a motor vehicle on the Wayland Plainview campus must have a valid parking permit displayed on the vehicle.
- Permit holders are responsible for their vehicle under all circumstances, and other drivers of the vehicle should be informed of these circumstances.
- Wayland parking rules ensure no citations will be received. A citation received by a driver other than the permit holder will not be voided and the permit holder is responsible for paying the fine.
- In order to obtain a permit, you must have proof of WBU employment or WBU student ID, a valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.

Permit Placement
- The permit is to be clearly displayed in the lower left corner (driver's side) of the rear windshield, on the exterior of the glass.
- The permit must be displayed as intended by the manufacturer to be considered valid. The entire sticker - with all paper removed - must be attached to the windshield.
- Improperly displayed permits are in violation of University traffic and parking regulations and may be ticketed.
- Only permits issued by the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúϵÁÐÂé¶¹ Department are valid.
- Temporary Parking Placards are available for vehicles that are going to be parked on campus for a few days.

Parking Zones
- A-zone parking spaces are reserved strictly for Wayland faculty and staff.
- A-zone permits are required to park in designated A-zone spaces.
- A-zone permits have access to C-zone and D-zone, but are urged to park in A-zone when available.
- No other permits are allowed to park in A-zone and will be ticketed - C-zone is reserved for commuters.
- Commuters with C-zone may park in designated C-zone spaces only.
- Failure to park in C-zone will result in a ticket. - D-zone is reserved for students living on campus.
- Students with D-zone permits may park in designated D-zone spaces only.
- Failure to park in D-zone will result in a ticket. - Handicap Zones
- Vehicles displaying valid state handicap permits may park in all campus handicap parking.
- Handicap zones are monitored 24 hours per day seven days per week.
- State recognized Handicap parking spaces are subject to enforcement by law enforcement officers outside of the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúϵÁÐÂé¶¹ Department and will result in fines from the City of Plainview Municipal court or Hale County Justice of the Peace. - VISITOR PARKING
- A, C, or D parking permit holders are not allowed to park in Visitor parking. - Fire Lanes
- Fire lanes are reserved strictly for Fire / EMS, Police, or other emergency vehicles.
-Fire lanes are subject to enforcement 24 hours per day seven days per week. - Parking Map

Tickets
- Parking Fines
- First offense- $25.00 fine.
- Second offense - $50.00 fine.
- Third offense - $60.00 fine.
- Each additional offense will result in a $10.00 increase per offense. - Handicap Parking Fines
- First offense - $50.00 fine.
- Second offense - $75.00 fine.
- Third offense - $100.00 fine. - If the TICKET is not paid within ten working days of receipt, the fine plus a $15.00 billing fee will be charged to your account.
- If it is believed that the ticket was unfairly received, an appeal may be filled out at the Wayland Police Department, 801 Smythe Street.
- In order to be considered, all appeals must be made within 72 hours of receiving a ticket.
- The appeal will be reviewed by the Appeals Committee.
- The Appeals Committee's final decision is final. If the committee upholds the ticket, the fine must be paid within 72 hours.

Towing
- Habitual violators are subject to towing and disciplinary action. Current and future parking privileges on campus may be denied.
Ìý
Visitors
- Visitors that will be on campus for more than one day must proceed to the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúϵÁÐÂé¶¹ Department, 801 Smythe Street to receive a temporary permit.
- Visitors parked without a permit are subject to receiving a ticket, which may be voided by signing the back of the ticket and mailing it to:

Plainview, TX 79072 - Any vehicle without a permit found to be parking on campus regularly will be traced through law enforcement authorities and is subject to towing at the owner's expense.
